The capacity of the stomach in underbred horses

It was studied the stomach capacity in 40 adult horses (they were underbred), 25 male and 15 female. There were found the maximum and minimum measures of 16.350 L. and 3.800 L. for the male and 11.100 L. and 3.600 L. for the female; the global average was 6.332 L. The statistical analysis showed significant difference concerning sex, to the level of α 5%.
