Contributions of a 5 "S" Program (five senses) for development of suitable student behavior at the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Rio Grande do Norte were evaluated. An exploratory descriptive study emphasized quantitative analysis of data collected with forms completed by students in their last year of study. Results showed that they perceived a strong correlation between ignoring the senses and wasted energy and materials, damage to property, lateness, absence and untidiness. Students found that the 5 "S" Program contributed to shaping habits and attitudes coherent with school vocational objectives, thereby constituting a viable alternative for behavioral improvements of these participants.Downloads
