This paper discusses different retextualization strategies during the process of translation, specially in the case of the transposition of a more orally influenced text genre into another one, with more affinity with literacy. The critical edition in Portuguese that incorporates these strategies of retextualization is developed taking into account not only the first edition of the handbook Textlinguistik, by Eugenio Coseriu, published in German by Albrecht from recorded classes given by Coseriu in the winter semester of 1977/78, but also the editions in Italian and in Spanish. In this study, different strategies of verbalization that allow the text displacement in the direction of literacy are illustrated and theoretically grounded, following the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the Discourse Tradition Model (of Coserian origin), which understands the language as a diasystem of texts and language varieties located in the continuum of orality and literacy.Downloads
