Abstract

In this study, we discuss about the relations between some characteristics of our time and autism. We refer the passage of the patriarchal society to the neoliberal society and the passage of the discourse of the master to the discourse of the capitalist. We present the contributions of authors who worked about the deep cultural changes in the contemporary. We propose to think about the effects of these changes in the construction of maternity and paternity and to the subject constitution of babies. We present clinical and social situations, which show traces of these changes in the social structure and we relate that with the autism.
