Abstract

The text articulates elements and concepts that, in Machiavelli’s political philosophy, revolve around the force of time, or rather, the relation of human beings - understood as political actors, political lives - to the temporalities that base the security of political body or, on the contrary, promote corruption, revolts and seditions - thus provoking the weakening or even the end of civility.
