This article studies the process of migration in the western part of the State of São Paulo, occurred as a result of the settlement of squatters from the gold mines of Minas Gerais and of men fleeing the war of Paraguay, the occupation of space and the development of culture Hick, the first settlements in the region, the Foundation and expansion of a population core, Centralizer of political, economic and religious activities, from the arrival of the railroad and the cultivation of coffee. We leave the bibliographical research of fundamental authors of this study as Antônio Cândido, Dióres Samal, Maria Angela D Incao and Benjamin Resende, which motivated our way of thinking about the process of interrelation from different forms of design of everyday life, social relations and a process of interconnection of rural and urban universe.
