Abstract

A simplified technique for determination of serum protein bound iodine (PBI) is presented. The technique is based on the ZAK et alii 0 method, anel it includes the following modifications: concentrations o f solutions, time and temperature reaction, less serum volume is used with digest time decreased. The simplified method was comparated with the BARKEl et alii alkaline ashing technique.
