Abstract

The study described in this paper reports the evaluation of one educational material on tetanus. This evaluation was limited to pretesting. The major findings indicate that the material failed to impart information about tetanus. It succeeded in stressing the need for immunization. Some doubts were raised in connection with the influence of previous information upon the answers to the questionnaire, and the value of pretesting when the material is prepared by experts on communication.
